Editorial policy and how we make money

A factoring site that earns from referrals owes you a clear account of how its content is produced and where its incentives sit. Here it is.

Short answer

HaulFund is a factoring broker. Our educational content is written and reviewed independently of provider relationships, we do not publish paid reviews or ranked provider lists, and we may be compensated by a participating third-party provider when a carrier we refer enters an agreement. We are not a lender, not a factoring provider, and not a law firm.

What we publish, and what we refuse to publish

Every guide on this site exists to help a carrier ask better questions before signing. We explain how pricing structures work, what contract clauses do, and where costs hide. We do not publish invented statistics, unverifiable funding volumes, fabricated testimonials, approval rates, or claims about how many providers are in any network. If a number cannot be substantiated, it does not appear.

We also do not rank factoring companies or publish "best of" lists. A ranking from a party compensated on referrals is marketing wearing a lab coat. Instead we publish the evaluation framework and the tools so you can rank them yourself against your own volume and your own tolerance for contract terms.

How content is produced

  • Every page is written against primary material: agreement language, fee schedules, and published regulatory and industry sources.
  • Claims that depend on a specific figure are either sourced or reframed as a range with the drivers explained.
  • Each guide is attributed to the HaulFund editorial team, which maintains a public profile page. We do not publish individual bylines for staff who are not client-facing.
  • Pages carry published, updated and last-reviewed dates so you can judge freshness.
  • Content is re-reviewed when contract practice, pricing norms or regulations change.
  • Corrections are made on the page itself rather than quietly removed.

Compensation disclosure

HaulFund does not charge carriers for comparing options. When a carrier we introduce enters into an agreement with a participating third-party factoring provider, that provider may compensate HaulFund. This is the standard brokerage model, and it is the entire reason this disclosure exists: you should read our content knowing where the revenue comes from. It does not change what we write about recourse periods, termination fees or minimums, and it does not buy placement.

HaulFund does not make credit, underwriting, approval or funding decisions. Rates, fees, advance amounts, funding times, contract terms and eligibility are set by each independent provider and are subject to that provider's approval.
